Hill Top Meats in Hazen has decided to close.
No, we were not expecting this news.
Yes, ALL of our fall 2023 secured beef slots in Hazen are gone.
What do we do now?
Our triple-generation-operation is honored to feed over 100 families every year with the grassfed beef we commit to raisin' & grazin'.
The beef you enjoy at your dinner (& picnic) table is YEARS in the making.
As you know, we cannot do this without the partnership of a processing facility.
We were so fortunate to have had a processing shop just 8 miles from our ranch.
Yes, this is a huge loss for us.
Yes, we've been calling every single beef processing facility within ND, plus SD & MT to check their availability, given this short notice.
Yes, thankfully, we've finally locked in enough slots in various locations that were willing to squeeze us in.
Because we believe in full transparency, we want all 100 of you to be fully aware of your NEW options, so that you have the right to say:
"Yes, I can make this work for me." or
"No, I can't."
[We'd still LOVE the opportunity to serve you. But if none of these new options will work for you, we totally understand, and we are SO sorry for this inconvenience.]

No, but we will do our best to accommodate one of your top 3 choices.
Will this affect cost?
Yes, because each processing facility offers different options and sets their own pricing.
Will Seek First Ranch up our prices?
Not for the beef. We will honor the hanging weight pricing we promised you: $2.95/lb hanging weight. However, there will be a slight upcharge to help defray a portion of our extra transport expenses.
